Are android users finding malware a common problem when looking for new apps?

I've not had a problem (so far) as long as I stick with the known apps on the market. Pretty much been using the same or similar apps from the same devs since the G1 and various other Android units.

Nope. I don't download anything that doesn't have a ton of good reviews though.
