Well, you know! The developer of this app has been actively working real hard on this, maybe get in touch with him thru the first link and see if it is a new bug if not open a case and see if he can work out the problem help make things better?

Just curious if anyone has done any speed tests while wifi tethered. I used it a lot yesterday while out of town worked great, got 4g sweet. But noticed my latency was incredibly high over tether, but doing test from phone it was great. Wondering if something with the ROM, using Fresh 0.2, or if it is just misrepresented info.

OK I need help I rooted some time ago. I went to the link in the 1st post DL the wireless_tether_2_0_5-pre1.apk file ran it and installed it. App comes up but says unable to start teather.

I never saw anything that said someing about super admin or whatever. I didnot run the unrevoke app ( whatever that is) because Im rooted, right?

I got it but boy it seems slow

It is slower on the pc than it is on the phone because the phone baceasue everything has to relayed from one radio to another each way. It will work better on 4g than it will on 3g. It is plenty fast enough to run videos. And you can always reboot phone to get a different ip address or try to go into airplane mode then back on. That will renew your connection. Latency will always be an issue for a phone like this or cable modem even no help for it. This is why it is not recommended for games just like cable modems.

Ummm, I've had this working...but it chooses when it wants to, it keeps saying "unable to start WiFi tethering"....anyone else keep getting this even after having it work before?...

I rooted my phone today....tried to install this...it installed fine....not getting the 'super user' request. I'm getting 'unable to start WiFi tethering'. Attempted reboot and re-install with no luck. Any suggestions?

I didn't read the entire thread so I apologize if this has been answered already, but will this allow multiple computers to connect and also communicate with each other?
