It will start the DL. It took me a few reboots for the download to start. After you get it installed, you should be able to Tether with the best of them!

do ihvae to do recovery after unrevoked ,ijust want to be able to tether useing wifi router idont want to flash rom,any advice thanks ,

just load unrevoked should work for you.

Dude it took me like 2 days to figure it out. When you download from you PC it givs you a .zip which has no apk file in it. when i saw the /m I figured it was mobile.

what is the process to get to the custom recovery, when i do volume down and power i get the standard one that wont let me access recovery from sd card without connecing to pc

Clarification please... installed the root & wifi, works great too! I was under the understanding by Sprint Tech that preped my EVO phone; that the EVO would do both Phone & Data (WiFI) simutaniously due to hardware circuits. I prev thought it required 4G with the CDMA service and was informed I had been mis-informed.
The WiFi Hotspot installed with Root access seems to turn off or not provide service when phone call is received. Is this correct or do I need to make additional settings? Will this app work within both 4G & 3G services? I also heard rumor that Sprint was going to block unauthorized (free) WiFi Routing, similar to how they're currently blocking BES Server packet traffic even when not using Sprint BES servers. Has anyone received any updates on if Sprint will soon be implimenting a block on WiFi Router traffic? Thank you to All that figure this Phone / Android stuff out!!
