SMS ringer stops sitting on pad, or during pickup
I'm loving my Evo 4g, but If I set my phone on a foam pad, the SMS ringtone will ring for about half a second and then cuts off.
If I put it against my body, it also will cut off after half a second. But if I lay it flat on a table it will ring the full tone. I'm just worried because if the phone is in my pocket, I won't hear it. Any ideas? I already turned off the "Quiet ring on pickup" feature under the Sound & Display setting but that didn't work.

Sounds like you need a soft reset

Tried that, didn't work. Why would it only be doing it when it is against something? Doesn't really make sense

settings, sounds and display, uncheck quiet ring on pickup.. see if that changes anything
