Handcent Text Messaging App
I installed the handcent text app... it works great. However, whenever I receive a text I get two notifications, 1 from handcent and one from the default messaging app that came on the phone. I tried to uninstall the messaging app from HTC but cannot do so.

Go to message, menu then setting and turn the notifications off

I also disable "Auto-Retrieve", "Sent Notification" and "Failure Notification" in the stock app and in Handcent just make sure to enable "Auto-Retrieve".
