Has anyone figured out how to do video chat with qik? - Page 2

I have the updated qik from the its update. I can make a video call, but I have little to no sound and I only get a text alert when I get a video call. Any suggestions?

do you guys recommend qik over fring or fring over qik.....

if not either of those, any suggestions for some programs that will do smooth video chat?

Haven't used qik yet but fring works fine for me. Don't expect too much though since its no where near perfect.

Well I used Fring for a Video call using Skype! (worked fine) BUT since they took Skype off fring I uninstalled it! Havent used Qik yet. I don't know anyone else with the EVO (SMH)

yeah. The Hubby and kids have them and it is my job to work on them.

I cant make a call for anything but i can except call from my brother who has a Epic just fine! And the video quality is super good!

Qik has never worked for me. I try calling the other evo and it never goes through.

When you click on the Video Chat you don't click on a person and call, In the search / Call you have to put in the persons name that he used to sign up with QIK

not a number. then hit the phone button to call.

Okay, now I have another thing to try lol. iMoviefor Evo does work, however.
