Takes forever to kill when trying

So im trying to condition my battery, and i noticed as you get the message on your phone to put it on the charger, which is like 10% i believe. Well that 10% takes forever to drain. So i tried everything i could to drain the last 10% quicker such as turning on 4G (which isnt in my area yet),bluetooth, wifi, and gps while streaming a 10 miniute HD video from your tube. I even opened up multiple apps to run in the background. So as it went i almost played the youtube video twice before it powered off. I dont really consider this a con, its good to know that in emergencys that the 10% will last you awhile. Damn this phone is awesome, it craps on my Tp like a bad case of diarrhea

Yeah, it's not calibrated well yet. The first 70% of battery drain in the first week is probably only like 40%. I had the same thing with all my other smartphones.

You don't have to do that to lith ion battery. Your thinking a bought the old nickel cad batteries. Doing that will do nothing to help your battery performance.

I've seen this repeated numerous times, and yet I still continue to see an improvement on all my phones after about a week. I'm starting to think that it's not the battery we are conditioning, but rather how the os utilizes it. All I know is that conditioning it definitely makes a noticeable difference.

Could it be... after a few days...you have learned how to do things on the phone. So you don't have to look around and click...thus saving battery?

Coming from Wm phones from the past years, this being my first android phone, i do spend less time looking for programs, and all the programs i need are rite there where i need them. The only time im ever looking for a program is when im looking for a new program to download from the market place, im just loving how android is really battery friendly compared to wm.

It can possibly do more harm than good, lithium batteries don't suffer from the same memory effects compared to older batteries. For lithium batteries it is recommended that you drain the battery once every 30 or so full charges, but just draining it on a regular can cause more harm than good.
