I've been doing alot of researching on different apps, and I keep seeing these barcode thingys. What are they, and how do they relate to app, phone, camera?

Are you refering to the barcode scanner app? They will access the internet and show you the best price online and locally.

take a pic of them with the google goggles app. it;s basically an easy way to download stuff without having to look for it, usually opens up the app's page in the android market.

it can also pull up other info if created by users or companies... (business cards, contact info, a fortune, etc)
