I don't get it... I mean are yall writing novels on your phone or what lol... I mean for what I actually need to use the keys for I can write a whole paragraph in like a minute with shape writer.. i mean for example I just did this entire post in under a minute pretty easily lol

So did we get an official answer on the OP's initial question? Do we 100% get our upgrade eligibility back if we return our evo's. I wouldnt return because of the typing(im also coming from a touch pro 2) but because of the price. If sprint tries to take away my 10 dollars off plus my employee discount for whatever reason I am returning this phone.

lol i do use the keyboard alot & it cant keep up with me & if it does it would trash my wording . cant hurt to give shapewrite another chance .. jus some things arent for everyone . . very used to entering text manually i suppose

I love this phone but the lack of a keyboard is driving kind of crazy too but I am definitely getting it. Its so weird though, typing with my thumbs on the screen just feels weird, now what I do is hold the phone with my thumbs and middle fingers(in landscape) and type with my index fingers and surprisingly I am starting to type a lot faster than if I had a physical keyboard and I was pretty fast with that.

im hitting the search button less & less while typing in my preferred mode, landscape lol .. some inputs arent recognized while typing fast even tho i see them show up when i tap the key .. idk .. maybe i should play with apps n stop entering so much damn data .. i swear i been practicing alot lol

We took my wife's Moment back to BB today so she can get an Evo. I made sure they called and check that her status was reset. I also checked when I got home. Everything was good, but I don't know if the call is necessary or if the whole process is automatic once the phone is returned. I would have them call to make sure.

yes you can get your credit back. JUST MAKE SURE THEY NOTE YOUR ACCOUNT AND DOUBLE CHECK WHEN YOUR IN STORE. I returned a phone in Jan and my upgrade never popped back up months later, had to call in all day one day to find someone who knew what the hell they were doing and got it applied back. and even then they had to call me back lol, i think it got resolved next day
