Re: Working Confirmed Swype (Best EVO Keyboard)

I can't download anything from any site other than the app market. I set it to install 3rd party apps, but it tells me I can't download it b/c it is not intended for my phone.

This sucks...lol

If you download a file explorer from the marketplace, this apk is actually already on the sd card

Re: Working Confirmed Swype with Picture Guided Instructions (Best EVO Keyboard)

Thanks. So far I'm loving Swype. First time user and so far, so good. I just don't like the fact that contractions can't seem to be used via sliding your finger to each letter. Unless I'm not doing something right. Other than that, I like it.

To use contractions, the best and most surefire way is to swype over to the apostrophe * ' * key. Not sure but on the TP2 it was the "n" key.

EX.
I'd
First swype to "I", then swype to " ' ", then swype to "d".

Also for double letters just kinda scribble on the letter.

New users should check out the tutorial.

Thanks. You answered two of my concerns in one fell swoop. I was wondering how i'd type a word with two letter back-to-back like "latter". I'll try it out.
