No, that's what you're supposed to do. Did you follow all the instructions about making sure your phone can accepted downloading 3rd party files?

Been using the swype keyboard since I got the phone, however I got an error message today telling me that I had to buy the offcial version and will no longer allow me to use the keyboard. I even removed it and reinstalled it and it still wont work. Any body else have this issue?

There was a version around that worked with the Evo.. it was working perfectly fine until about half an hou ago.

Got my first "trial over pleasr upgrade swype"a few minutes ago i uninstalled dled a clean apk still doesn't work. Kinda sucks I was use to it. Using ShapeWriter right now buy might go back to stock... anyone get it to work after they get the upgrade messages?

Sorry about repeatpost didn't refresh page before posting,was reading on swypes website and I think they might have updated te beta so I'm sure we will be up and running soon.
