The whole 4g & battery myth

The bottom line is if 4g is killing your battery quick its because where you are there isnt a strong enough 4g signal. If you're phone is barely getting a bar then the radio is constantly trying to connect to 4g and that radio WILL kill your battery fast. On the other hand look at mine.

FYI these are from inside of my house



As you can see I have a very strong signal.. I took my phone off the charger at 6:27 am.. it's now 10:13 which is almost the 4 hours people are claiming to get and I still have roughly 85% of my battery left.

i'd love to test your theory out, but according to the sprint tech i just talked to there is a nationwide 4g outage...

Im getting 6 and a half megs down outside so... I have absolutely no complaints about 4g at all.. nor my battery life. I know everyone isnt as lucky butttttttt im good.

The radio signal problem has always been a factor with CDMA. There are a few locations I am occasionally in and have to turn the phone off; otherwise after a short period of time the battery is significantly affected.

Yea, the battery on this phone is not bad. I set everything up exactly how I had it on my TP2 (as close as I could) and used it how I used my TP2 and I got the same amount of usage out of the Evo as the TP2.
