you need it to say -off to redo clockwork and superuser.

I have never used unrevoked 3.21 but you are going to need to do that so it says -off than everythng else will install fine

i used unrevoked 3.21 and it rooted me but im down to build 3.26 instead of 3.29 and i believe this is not the froyo 2.2 ; ; any suggestions ? is there a froyo 2.2 rooted rom around out there i can maybe install ?

you need it to say -off than you are fine. you may need to contact the unrevoked people but once you get -off follow my steps

if you installed 3.21 correctly it unlocks nand per their instructions

I noticed they changed the 911 emergency icon and one thing I hate is if you import from a saved contact list it doesnt save your rigntone selection

Well i Officially give up. I did your steps one by one to the T after doing unrevoked3 to get the latest 2.2 with 3.29 build and when i did the RUU and tried to go thru the steps again it said -on. so i just spent an other 1½ hour getting unrevoked again and im back to 2.2 android with 3.26 build. hopefully in the future there is a fix for this.

you need to be -off , there is no other fix. you have to be able to flash unsigned files.

once you get -off than your fine but that is the first step.

maybe you need to delete all your files and re download them. but your doing something wrong if you run unrevoked and it stays -on. talk to them

If I have never done anything to my EVO other than official OTA updates, I can follow the instructions in the first post and be rooted?
