Re: unrevoked root released
I did the OTA update when I received my phone and on the 5th i used the unrevoked root method and then today I uninstalled it along with the supervisor permission app and rebooted. I'm assuming my phone has returned to pre root status. On the unrevoked twitter page it says that this is possible and what will happen. However, since I've done all this it now seems as if my 16gb storage card maybe corrupted. While trying to sync music or files I get error messages and the transfer can not complete. I have reformatted the card on the device several times but it always stops transferring data until I reformat and then the cycle starts all over again. I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing a similar issue?

Re: unrevoked root released
What is the difference between the Unrevoked method and the standard method? Besides the installation aspect. I mean does the standad method allow you to do more than the Unrevoked method does?

Re: unrevoked root released
So this rooting thing, after the phone is rooted and restarted does it boot back to normal? Just want to make sure before I get the phone and install any apps on it and wipe all my data.

Re: unrevoked root released
why are there so few details about unrevoked? I knew absolutly nothing about rooting an android device and when I found about unrevoked i knew it was the choice for me but the fact they i could find no info on it or how it worked raised red flags for me. I decided to go the more complicated route... I followed these http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=123714 instructions to the T and now I'm rooted! I still have no idea what a nand or recovery is but it wasnt too hard at all.
