How can I mount the sd card on the evo without being rooted is it possible

hmm do I need to install anything special I'm running windows 7 and under my computer I do not see my sd card.

After you plug the phone into the computer, you need to select the option on your phone first!

Yea if you pull down the notification bar you can choose between what you want the phone to do when its plugged in. Once of the choice is to mount the sd card.
