Doesn't my suggestion work? Maybe I don't understand the Hearing Aid thing?

My mom wears hearing aids so,
from what I understand...

the "magnetic field" messes with the hearing aids somehow, on her home phone they had to put a small magnet to keep the aids from shutting down.

So I am guessing that field does something else then raise the volume...

P.S. her cell doesn't have this issue...

Re: Volume on EVO

It says right in the menu "Enabling HAC (Hearing Aid Capability) will amplify in-call volume." I'd say that's the setting to hit if it isn't loud enough for you.

Re: Volume on EVO

I actually was wondering the same thing. The volume on my tp2 was 100's of times better. Is there an adio para type hack or app I can use on my evo?

Re: Volume on EVO

Wondering, too, for listening to music in my car. I have to turn the car volume all the way up to get it to a decent volume. There is a louder volume hack out there, but doesn't work on 2.1 or higher.

Re: Volume on EVO

I don't know what's wrong with your Evo's ... I was on YouTube earlier listening to a live performance and it was actually rivaling the sound on my laptop, and I'm not exaggerating. My ears were actually ringing because of the loudness, and I am not sensitive to noise at all. I've yet to find a phone that had adequate volume to me, but this one is pretty damn good.
