how to increase headset mic volume

I am using blackberry headset. people complain that not able to hear me. any one knows, how to increase mic volume on EVO.

Try a different headset and see if you're experiencing the same issue... Most likely it's just the headset...

Keep in mind that you changing the volume settings has nothing to do with how well they can hear you it only changes how well you can hear them. So change whatever earpiece you are using or atleast try to re-pair the headset with the phone.

Another thing... Make sure the plug is properly seated... I noticed I was getting some choppy audio and look at the plug to find it wasn't completely seated in the jack...
