Tethering via USB

Is anyone having an issue with tethering the evo to a comp via usb?

I am getting:

Error Code 67 .Registration
failure. Your PCS Vision
username and or password may
be incorrect. Please try again

(Internet is working fine on the phone itself....)

Re: Tethering via USB

Well all i know is thats bs if it is disabled on purpose. I shall call and complain. I be damn if I am going to give up my SERO and pay 200 bucks and not be able to tether one PC. I dont use it often but when I do I REALLY NEED IT! I will post the results when I call them...

(I think it may be a provision issue tho. The dude at the sprint store was a moron..)

Re: Tethering via USB

Your getting it because your not paying for it just like with the TP2 if it wasnt hacked its the same error code.

I actually received this error upon switching the evo around on my account (upgraded my wife's account then switched it to my number). Went to the sprint store and they did a hard reset or something and it was fine. I could still make calls but nothing internet (data connection) based would work...even checking email or signing into my google account to import my contacts. But nonetheless I got the same error despite a different scenario.

Re: Tethering via USB

I think we're going to get a lot of complaints about this initially. Too many people assume it's gonna be free for some reason.
No Sprint phone is allowed to tether for free. You can hack the phone to allow tethering.

know they want us to pay, but there was an issue that supposedly allowed 4g hotspotting for the next month or so. *shrug*
