Hotspot software: What happens if you run it
and are not paying for it?
Does the software still work but just not let anyone connect? Anyone try this yet?

Ahh crap. Well the one time I did that I got the error and now the phone comes up with Error code 67 Registration failed. Username and password may be incorrect..
The 3g icon is now just a bunch of concentric circles and I can no longer connect tot he 3g network..  Help!

Scratch that...The wifi hotspot was still enabled. DOH! My brilliant son figured that out for old dad. LOL

this would've been if it worked....
from what i saw on the sprint website when i was doing a mock sign-up for the Evo, when i brought up the add-on screen, the hotspot section indicated that if you didn't add this particular option, it was going to be on a pay per use thing.

I can't get mine to connect on my macbook, is there a trick to get the hotspot working? I've followed the instructions, & I did have them add the service to my acct when i bought the phone today.
