I've really been trying, but especially in landscape, I still find myself yearning for the TP2 keyboard. It is just such a nice kbd, and with it not on the screen, I can reference the text that I'm responding to.

Glad i listened to u guys about giving it a chance. Im getting used to entering data on this thing ... i still make mistakes but im a hell of alot better then i was 24 hours ago n as of now my keyboard of choice is smart keyboard

I'm really staring to like swype but without atrack pad/ball its very annoying to edit text/mistakes and occasionally I really need those arrows from the stock keyboard its a pain to move the cursor one space with justyour finger..... And how do you turn off this annoying ass clicking noise!

Yeah I used to miss the arrows too, but you realize after awhile that when you make a mistake, even if you have to just delete a whole lot of the message, you still finish way faster than you would with a stock kb.. There is an arrow screen however, and if I am correct you hit the swype button to get to it. Go to the swype thread linked in my sig and ask about the sounds.

Yeah that's too much i dont want to have to delete and retype this is supposed to be speeding up my ability to type and making it less work not more. It's cool im just really fast on the stock kb after having the hero with a screen a quarter of the size if the evo lol. But the arrows are needed in other situations than just editing I will try your suggestion to activate the arrows.

I don't see your sig either to check on the clicking issue

Edit: Tried the swype button just brought up tutorial and other options i tapped it and held it neither gave different options

You have to hit the checkbox "don't show this again" then you can use the button.

Edit: Maybe I'm slow but I dont see the do not show check box just Tutorial, More Tips and Options

Edit: Edit: Figured it out you have to swype from teh swype key to the sym key to launch it.... you can also swype from sype key to the number 5 to bring up a numerical 10key keyboard.... Nice.... This may work

No problem I want to make tis work as my main keyboard but its got big shoes to fill! Now if I can just get rid of that damn clicking noise.. posted the question in the other thread tho so we'll see
