Re: still having problems transfering my contacts from TP2
I did not have this issue, but when I set my phone up, it imported everything from my google contacts correctly. I backed my contacts up from my touch pro using active sync. Sorry I couldnt help you directly, but know that it can work the way it is suppose to.

Re: still having problems transfering my contacts from TP2
Lokalori I am experiencing the exact same problem as you. I too used the csv export method to load my contacts into gmail and when it syncs to my phone only the list of contacts with no info comes on my phone. Haven't looked too much into how to fix it yet since I'm at work but i will appreciate if anyone knows how to fix this as well.

Re: still having problems transfering my contacts from TP2
Just sync your contacts to Gmail from your old phone (use WiFi if it's turned off already), and forget about Outlook. Search for Google Sync, pick your old OS, and follow the directions

Re: still having problems transfering my contacts from TP2
Unfortunately for me I already hard reset my TP2 and sold it. I have my contacts uploaded into gmail, I believe it went through correctly via the csv file. When I sync them to my phone only the names come in but no numbers.

Re: still having problems transfering my contacts from TP2
grrrr my TP2 is giving me "could not locate remote server" error and I'm connected to my wifi network. Frustrated a bit. Any other software that I could use to pull my contacts off of my tp2 and put em on my evo. Note my TP2 has never been able to sync with my computer. I'm running Windows 7
