bestbuy and Sprint systems down! - Page 4

the actual activation system is on a different server. it took an hour to get the evo activated on my line but when i jumped onto sprint.com to swap it to my brother's line it went smooth as butter

I would call ahead and confirm instead of wasting a trip out there. Unless someone can confirm Bestbuy is doing activations now.

like i mentioned, sprint retail page and sprint activations are on a different server

Just got back from BB about a hour ago in NYC. They systems are up but moving very slow. they are quite backed up with appointments. Mine was at 1:15 and i didnt leave until 2:20

It's not just BB, RS has no connectivity with Sprint either. I was asked to come in tomorrow bc they (RS) can't connect to the Sprint network.

Meh, I'll wait until monday.

Took about half an hour @ mine.... I left, she said it wouldnt work for a couple hours. Still didn't work, called Sprint and they programmed it manually. All is good now!

I wish I had your patience LOL. Been waiting for this phone for 3 months and its driving me nuts. Is anyone getting any kind of credit from Sprint for the trouble?
