Audio through Mono Bluetooth Headset?

This maybe more of a General Android question than it is related to the EVO but I was hoping one of my evo brothers or sisters could assist.

In WinMo there was an option to "Play system sounds on remote hands-free device." which allowed the transfer of audio to a connected BT Headset.

Has anyone figured this out on the EVO...??? The only audio I can get through the BT is a phone call...

What you need to do is go to the screen where your bt is connected, press and hold the line that says "jabra etc" connected and a secondary screen pops up. it asks do you want to play media and just make sure the option is check. there you go
great sound on the jabra halo by the way. clear as hell

You're using Stereo Headsets which works with out a problem. My question was related to Mono Headsets...

Doesn't seem you can listen to music via a Mono BT Headset...

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing too. I was searching the site and this thread was all I came up with.

I don't use it for music though, I use it for navigation. When I have the stereo blasting, it's really hard (impossible, actually) to hear the directions from the phone's speaker. That's one app I really loved and used all the time on my TP.

If anyone knows of an app for that, please let us know!

im sure it can be done. i was on a call yesterday on my evo and accidentially press play on the stock music player, and while the person on the other end could not hear the music, it was playing in my ear. i have a mono bluetooth and i was shocked that it played while in a active call.

Get a Jabra BT8040. Acts like stereo bluetooth even though it's only one earpiece.

it is working on a jabra BT8010. its a mono headset. got it when it was $19 on newegg.
