Cant get skype to connect (fring) - Page 2

Please...I have been trying to do something that I know is very simple but I just can't get it. How do you set up fring on phone and skype on computer and make them talk to each other? I have never used either one of these programs...Please help!!!!

For skype to connect you might want to try using the country code first. At first I couldnt' figure it out but then I added 011 then 1 then the phone number(011 being the country code for the U.S.) and all my skype calls starting working just fine.

now it's not ever subscribing, maybe its not gonna work too good since everyone is using it...it work fine earlier...I unsubbed and now i can't sub back

my skype issue was solved by going to skype.com and saying i forgot my password.

created a new one (which was actually the same as the old), logged into fring after that and skype logged in perfectly, first try.

Can you video skype from the evo to a computer and vice versa?

i just skyped from my pc to our Evo demo at work. very easy

1. set up skype buddy list on PC. confirm buddy on PC and vice versa.
2. sign into fring on phone.
3. in fring, sign into skype account.
4. wait a little
5. initiate video chat from PC to buddy NOT a phone #

have fun
