Took the train from Middletown, NY(5am) to 34th ST. NYC (6:50am). I was the 10th Customer in Line. The Doors Opened at 8am. I Upgraded, with no problem! I was out of the store by 8:35am. It went much smoother than Palm Pre launch...SMH! Was back home before Noon!

I went to the CITY because i wasn't sure about inventory up here. I tried searching for Sprint retail Stores and the only one was in the mall... they open at 10am....i couldn't wait that long!!!

Now that we got that outta the way....Let's get this baby popping!!!

Radio Shack 9:30am. Full retail 499+tax-no activation fee. Customer for 7 months or so and not upgrade eligible.

Upgrade 430pm appointment. got there at 830am out by 850am before the store even opened returned the Hero that I had just bought to try out Android fully working, had the XANDROID port on my TP2, met my wifes uncle on the way out as well as a sh!!!tload of people waiting for the store to open in the parking lot. When I left out I was talking on the phone and someone even called me a lucky bastard, I laughed. I immediately went to the Sprint store at Stonecrest Mall to check out the accessories and saw that the lines were out the door and plenty of people were both cussing and fussing. EVO baby EVO!!!

Looks like my appt went well. I was able to add a second line to my sero account. Sure I only have ED with the EVO but im glad I was able to do it and the sprint system was working great at 7:30pm NY time.

that is correct. company discount you get applies to plan + add-ons. the only add-on the discount cant be applied to is the $7 TEP.

Upgrade (renewal)... from another line in the acct that was out of contract. The upgrade process took like 20 minutes. Then another 20 with sprint on chat (10 waiting) to move the phone to my line and reactivate the phone that was previously on the acct... the odd thing is that, after the transfer, all the standard voice phone options (including text) were working on the old phone but not data. The rep told me that there was some issue on their end but the data connection will be setup later on and the phone should do it on its own...
