Do, I have to go back stock to trade in my TP2 at Radio Shack?

I might trade in my TP2 tomorrow. So I was wondering will Radio Shack trip out If I give them a phone with a flashed rom?

If so, All I need to do is flash the stock rom right?

I posted this in the TP2 forums also but only 1 response out of 30 views, I thought maybe you guys can help since, I wont be the only one doing this from this side of the forum.

I wouldn't worry about giving it to them with a flashed rom they will have to wipe it a and reflash anyway. Privacy laws would force them to reflash it anyhow. I would however do a hard reset first so your information isn't given to someone else.

Yes you should. It only takes a min or two to do this and better safe than sorry i say. At least that's my plan. Flashing to stock now from MAXSense (which rocks i might say) to stock tonight, at the door for Sprint tomorrow at 0800, evo in hand by 830, and rooting by 1630 heheheh sounds like a good plan.

I wouldn't worry about it, unless they themselves frequent these forums they probably wouldn't know what a custom rom is.

Don't Forget to RELOCK your bootloader/phone as well

Do, I really have to unlock it? I might keep it as a back up and I know if I relock it i might be out of look trying to reunlock it.

You should be able to re-unlock it as long as you have the HSPL you unlocked it with. I may be wrong but I think the HSPL is device specific.

i only know of three of us that are here regularly, myself, bradart, and the great rstoyguy

and as for the original question, i don't know what actually happens to the phones after they get shipped but at the very least it would likely be flashed assuming it wouldn't just get torn apart anyway
and as for whether or not they'll ding ya for it, most RS employees probably couldn't tell the difference so it probably wouldn't matter if you did or didn't
