Re: HD Video Play Back..

Is there any other reason besides file size to make it 720x480 rather then the screens 800x480?

If you get AT&T uVerse the DVR has an USB connection on the front! I had Comcast DVR and it didn't have any hookups for external devices!

Putting it at 720 gives me a letter box(black bars on top and bottom of screen). Its very little though
heres a sample,it gives it a less stretchy feel and looks more natural with letter box.

Converted them..Files are too big to take them and copy it straight to the sd card...And its a waste of space.I converted the movies with a program called HandBrake

Well.......that's garbage for me than!!!!!! LOL!

You should try to hook something up to it to see if it works! It will come up as a storage device and not as a phone! If not than you should be able to transfer them to your computer and copy them from there!

I just download whatever I wanna watch.......hopefully TVersity can be loaded with the EVO's web browser!

Does HandBrake tell you what format it's converting it to?!

I use Xilisoft HD Video Converter......it has a lot of formats already set so you just click one and hit the start button! I have a 16gb class 10 microSD card.......I have an 8gb in my TP2 and it still has over 6gigs left on it........I got that 16gb card specifically for watching HD video on my EVO! Plus all my HD movies are no bigger than 2gigs anyway.....and they're all 1080p (BluRayrips)......episodes are between 300-600mb (Blurayrips also, regular episodes are only 180mb MAX)!

Did you change anything for the sound......and what all file types does Act1 play if you know off hand?! Does it support streaming media?!
