I have not seen that flyer, do you have a link to it? I find it odd that this phone is so much cheaper than previous top end phones. Possibly the lack of keyboard, maybe the $10 charge though.

The TP2 was 550 at launch. But you have to consider, that keyboard does add a decent chunk of change. Plus there's licensing cost, for Windows Mobile. So it is reasonable for Evo to be 100 bucks cheaper.

I do not have a copy of it scanned, but last time I was in Sprint store, they laid it out. $200 with a new plan, described as $450 - $150 instant rebate - $100 mailin rebate = $200.

Apparently, he knows that his price is so high that "nobody can afford it" so now he's willing to let go of his Evo for an iPad 3G/WiFi, plus $300 to go with it.

And he changed his phone number (after the nice 200 sms ClamTXT bomb I sent him, for the $1000 Evo price), and still cannot spell "Canarsie" right.

What a tool that guy is. Why does he keep insisting Sprint is going to sell it for $600 without a contract, when EVERY other source of information, including Sprint themselves, say $450. He might actually sell it if he was asking a reasonable price for it, but at this rate he's going to be advertising that thing on Craigslist for the rest of his life.

Some people may look for "that one special idiot" who will buy it at the price. By the time they realize that these phones are available anywhere for $450, all you have to do is walk in, they will see that it was a dumbass move. But you cannot convince them otherwise just yet.
