But damn dude, reading that gave me a headache lmao. not trying to be a prick or a troll, im just saying it would be nicer to us all if you could type a bit more clearer. |

Re: major issue when evo comes out!!
WiMax is a combined effort between CLEAR, SPRINT, COMCAST + INTEL, ETC... You can't just remove CLEAR, they are providing the backbone and most of the $$$. I'm sure any decision to cap users is joint between companies. I sell clear all day long and see it easily do a speed test over 10mbits down and 2 up.

Re: major issue when evo comes out!!
no its a combined effort from sprint comcast intel ect because sprint is in control of clear

Re: major issue when evo comes out!!
the entire speed cap is irrelevant considering that 2.5gHz wimax cannot penetrate buildings. if you cant get a signal it is far worse than having a lower than expected speed. why do you think radio shack is scrambling to install clearwire repeaters at some locations?
so expect that backlash in 4g areas to be more "i cant get a signal" than "i cant get a good score on my speedtest" ^ |

Re: major issue when evo comes out!!
I know this phone is 4G capable, but its not a major issue for me because from what im noticing it handles 3G just fine.

Re: major issue when evo comes out!!
It penetrates buildings just fine in my area (Austin, TX). I have Clear's home and mobile internet service and I consistently get 3/5 bars on my home modem (and it's not even close to a window like they recommend) and my USB mobile modem gets 6/10 bars here at home (bottom floor and back side of an apartment building) and a full 10/10 when I'm at work (in a cubical farm, no less).
But then again, I know I'm lucky because I have some co-workers that, only 1 or 2 desks away from me, only get 4 to 6 out of 10 on their USB modems w/ Clear... so, I'm sure YMMV...
