Navigation buttons(4 on bottom)

I am having the same issue. The lights on the bottom are dimly lit. I wonder if there is some leakage current in the circuits. Possibly faulty circuits.

i've got rev 3 hardware and no sleepy light on the menu keys.

HMMMMMM..... I have rev 0002.... I wonder what everyone else has?

I swapped it at Best Buy..... I now have a REV 3 hardware. No MORE night light !!!!
