Another Root Project with a semi-working Froyo ROM
Looks like Toast over at XDA has been successful rooting an EVO and getting a Froyo ROM to run on it (some functions not working). He has not released the rootkit or custom ROM yet, but its an interesting read.

Sounds like Toast will be releasing his Root very soon, he said tonight or tomorrow. He also said Froyo has alot of issues on the EVO. No camera, no 4G.
