the 6700 didnt have it although all the dumb phones could do it. The mogul was the 1st ppc on sprint with mms. In reguard to the evo when the pic are sent to my tp2 the pictures are super compressed. The orignal file was 8xx bb and when it reached me it was 35kb. its the size of a postage stamp.

Yes but I believe the discussion of picmail and mms are a little different. You could send picmail for the frist time on a Winmo device with the Mogul due to mms, but when you received a picmail message it would come with a link to Sprint's internet picture mail website. Sending and receiving picmail changed with the release of Touch Diamond and Touch Pro, now when receiving picmail the picture shows up right in the message available for download, but for some reason it didn't work all the time with the stock roms so they released the cab file on the Sprint website to fix the issue. It pretty much works that way with Android as well, but I have did an issue with my Hero before 2.1 was released were sometimes my pictures wouldn't download in the message and I would have to go online to retrieve them.

Re: Picture Mail

pic mail and mms are the same thing, the mogul wasnt built to recieve the pics directly. The BB pearl was like that also, would jut receive a link.

So yes it will work but Handcent sms is a better program.
Yea all that customization is nice , but what is the point if the person that is receiving the text/pic mail can not see it?
