Re: Moving up an upgrade?
I know it can be done. When I upgraded, all those years ago to a the newly released Mogul, I didn't have an upgrade at all, but the girl who was selling it to me gave me $150 off with a renewed contract. Maybe she got reprimanded, but it didn't seem a technical process at the least.

Re: Moving up an upgrade?
Yes I'm pretty sure that, in normal conditions, they would allow you to do it based on your payment history and time with the company... but these times are not ordinary. Maybe they are trying to keep the amount of devices that will be out 'within control'. Hopefully, we wont see another ATT failure.
Besides, the main purpose of this phone launch is to get more new customers. |

Re: Moving up an upgrade?
I have been with sprint for over 10 years now and they have always been hard asses about upgrading your phone if you are not eligible. The new Sprint Premier program has hellped with that but you still only get the upgrade credit every year. Which is not bad. Unless you just upgraded your phone not too long ago.

Re: Moving up an upgrade?
I was told due to the soon to be release Evo that pushing early upgrades is very limited. I'm out of contract with 3 of my 4 lines with the forth line due for an upgrade on 07/01/10. I was also turnt down for the early upgrade but would be credited $150 if I wanted to upgrade before that date.

Re: Moving up an upgrade?
Thanks for all the input I have a second line on my account that my brother uses and it is available for the full $150 upgrade. I would just upgrade that line and once I get the phone switch it over to my number. But this idiot!! says he wants an iphone. I'm still considering doing the upgrade and once I get the phone in my number and he still wants the iphone after seeing the Evo then I will cancel that line and have him pay for the cancelation fee, which I heard two different prices of $60 and $150. If anybody knows if this will work or has any advice I thank you in advance.
