Family Rate Plans

Right now me and my wife are on separate plans which I am going to have to update my plan when I get my Evo next week. If her phone (it's a lotus) isn't 4g compatible and all that, will we be able to use the sprint shared plans or does the Evo require other Evo level phones in order to be on a shared plan with them?

You'll need the Everything Data Family Plan @ 129.99 + 10 for the Evo. That's all. You can add any phone onto the Everything plans.

That is correct, I will have an EVO, a Hero, a BB Curve, and a Samsung Insticnt S30 on my Everything Plan.

How many talk minutes does that include?

$129 plan includes 1500 minutes to share.

That is the price for Smart Phones on that account, Normal phones are only $9.99 if I remember correctly.

as info, i had a family plan, with just the data pack add on. Sprint said that i had to upgrade to an everything plan. since my wife don't even use text, and the everthing family is so expensive, i just changed to 2 seperate plans under one account. i got the 39.99 basic talk plan for her, and i got the 69.99 everything data plan for myself. with my new employee discount(it still covers both plans) it comes out to be about $10 less than i am paying now with about 200 minutes more. I know you were interested in the family plan, but i just thought i'd let ya know the other route.

oh yeah 9 more days!!!!!!
