Lovin this thing for sure!!

Only thing I haven't figured out is, is it possible to make notifications(i.e. text messages, or emails) vibrate and ring at the same time? Haven't found this yet. Not lookin like you can.
For text messages, go to the messaging app, hit menu, settings, then check the box for vibrate. Also the same for the gmail email app. Menu, settings, vibrate. No master control, unfortunately. There may be a market app, but I don't know.
Ha! Now that was easy..lol...You will get a thanks from me when I get a chance...Im mobile right now. Thanks again!

Re: An EVO rant

Staying with the TP2 myself... the EVO isn't worth $500 more a year to me.

Re: Official HTC EVO Review Thread

Just got my evo, first time ive ever seen it on is in my hands..

Coming from the tp2, i feel like i just left a honda and stepped into a porsche. This screen is OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!

I played with the setting in the browser and now, for the first time in my life, i have REAL INTERNET MOBILE!!! Im just so blown away. This isnt a real review, just a shock post, but can you blame me? IM SHOCKED. I know betters coming down the line, but nothing will be like this. No phone will ever be as big as an upgrade as i just took, i think this is where the mobile platform envisioned itself as way back when.

Re: An EVO rant

The Evo still lacks the most important feature to have on a smart phone...

A real keyboard

I can wait until they toss a keyboard under it, and more than likely call it the Touch Pro 3.

Re: An EVO rant

I am a TP2 owner. I wanted the best WINMO phone that Sprint or HTC had to offer...I spent alot of $$ on it and now Im moving on. The best cant hold up. Its like a 2010 mustang Vs. a 2011 mustang. New technology, refined OS, more horsepower... I cant look back. I could do ANYTHING with WINMO but not well. When Swype hits the android market the keyboard troubles will be over (though I am getting used to it). EVO Rocks.

Re: An EVO rant

Too many people worried about what other people think. If you are personally happy with your mobile device..... good for you.

No reason to go Fan Boi and spam a TP2 forum.

Re: An EVO rant

I don't really care how good the evo is, it could do my laundry and I still won't get it. I will however get it when I get 4g coverage here in Jersey. It is a 4g phone and being able to experience 4g would be the only way to switch over. From the looks of it, I don't think op will be enjoying 4g speeds, you're using mustangs as analogies but all you have is a mustang with no gas.
