i am all for that also, but it kinds sux that premier customers arent getting any perk (early order) for this launch. after having my pin compromised by a bestbuy employee 2 years ago (little "b" had the nerve to use my account to order her man a phone) i refuse to let anyone have access to my account.

How far in advance can you call telesales and still get them to sell an EVO for June 4th delivery? Would Thursday at 12:01 EDT work?

I've ordered on a thursday, between 2-3pm (eastern time), and had the phone in hand by 11am the next day. This may not always be the case, so order as early as possible.

I called Telesales yesterday to get their daily business hour especially on launch day, the rep said between the hours of 8am to 8pm. Im thinking earlier since the majority of the calls get routed to other countries (Singapore and India) and they are ahead of us by some 13 hours or so. So let say you get up at 4am on Thr. its already 5 pm in Singapore but since shipping is done from Louiseville KY and other warehouses in the US, your phone order will already be in the system & should be processed first thing Thr. morning and at your door step Fri. between 10.30am and 3.00pm.

So we'll be able to call Sprint Telesales and order the phone. Just don't expect to get it b4 Monday/Tues?? I didn't pre-order so this is the next best solution.

i didnt pre order either. if you dont want to drive to a sprint store and want to say home then yeah telesales is the next best solution in your case.. if you want it THAT day minutes after release then drive to a sprint store..

I'll probably get one for my wife through Telesales, if she wants one. She's pretty easy to please, and is still happy with her Mogul.

Did sprint say you couldn't order the Evo through telesales until Friday? They will probably be able to process the orders on Thursday, and you will get it in the mail on Friday. I ordered my Hero this way. It was released on Oct 11 (sunday). I ordered it on the 8th, and got it the 9th (friday).
