The funniest thing about the questions on eBay is that the people that got the free phones are Google app developers and can't give a strait answer by saying there unlocked NOT they can be used on A&TT NOT lets be honest it is a sprint phone it is cdma only or are they that stupid

i don't know if he qualifies as stupid just ignorant but he did explicitly state "subscribe to another service provider" looks like some questions from today are getting him straightened out. what confuses me is how can you be in the US and be an android developer and not be familiar with the GSM/CDMA schism. Then again he's not willing to ship and his auction is over in a few days, maybe he's international and trying to sell it locally before going home

Well even a developer may not know about mobile phones..don't forget Android is not only used for cellphones but other things like tablets, cars and more...also many people who go to convention are "managers" for developer companies who don't know specifics, only are there to speak to clients.

I personally go to conventions many times and hardly get any time to even see the floor with all the meetings which many are unrelated to the convention itself.

Plus some of these being sold are scams that are using the I/O give away as proof wheb in fact they don't have the phone. Look at the number of listings without personal pictures. One of the is even using pictures from Phonedog that would fool anyone who hadn't seen his quick unboxing
