Kansas City Wimax any day?

I've seen fellow KC people here so I thought I'd post this page I came across. On Clear.com's home page they have Kansas City listed on the bottom with the other cities that already have wimax....when you cllck on it you go here:

Hopefully wimax in KC by the 4th!

Let's hope so. Obviously sooner rather than later would be better. I am just really excited to get this phone.

as an employee of Best Buy, i can tell you that 4G is actually live right now in Kansas City, but it is still in test mode, so everyone can't connect if you have a 4G card, only certain "approved items"

Also, a few Best Buy's have had Sprint come in and install 4G repeaters.

You would think the switch would be very close to launch date if not sooner.

I'm actually in Lawrence. Does anyone know if Lawrence will be included in the KC metro wimax rollout? The Sprint csa's I talked to had no idea.

A Sprint rep at the KC store on Barry Rd claims that 4G went live today in KC. Perfect timing for Friday's release.

not far from my house, sweet. i didn't realize there were as many locals on here. it's gonna be a long 5 days!

it looks like it's live if you look at the coverage map on clear.com... it also looks like sprint shows it as live on their coverage map. I'd say it's live.
