4g in my area?
I just got off the phone with a Sprint sales rep regarding my upgrade and how it's not eligable until 10/1/2010. I tried to see if I could get that pushed up to now, so I could order the Evo. Upon her reading me the specs (which I already knew) she asked me if I would be using the phone primerily in Chula Vista California (a suberb just outside of San Diego) where I live, I said yes. She then said since 4g is available in your area you can really take advantage of the features of the phone. I said what? 4g is not available in my area I've been following 4g for a while and have not heard of 4g coming to San Diego let alone Chula Vista. She said well the computer says that 4g is available in your area. I still can't believe this, so my question is how do I find out for sure? My concern is that she said this just so I would have to pay the extra $10 dollars a month for the 4g service. Any info would help. Thanks in advance.

I would simply just call back and see what another rep would say. You can never tell what you are getting yourself into with these sprint reps sometimes.
