Android on-screen keyboards

It will be tough to get used to an on-screen keyboard coming from a Touch Pro 2. I wish I could find an on-screen keyboard for Android that was transparent where you only saw the key letters/numbers/symbols and the outline of the keys. I dislike the fact that on-screen keyboards cover up what you are seeing on the screen.

I use TouchPal on my hero. Works great for me.

That's a good idea. I've never seen anything like that.

Re: Android on-screen keyboards

i wrote this in the swipe thread too:

as long as they have arrows LOL... i run Xandroid on my Tp2.. Android keyboard nor Better Keyboard have arrows.. which makes it a little difficult to navigate a mistake in texting or web search bar withouth having to backspace/delete your way to where you need to start a correction..

the issue lies in the fact that most android devices have a trackball, dpad, etc.. a TP2 has neither of those.. i get that..

the EVO also doesnt have a trackball, dpad, or the like... whichever keyboard it comes with need to have arrows, or its not gonna work so great..

btw i currently use Better Keyboard - Black on Xandroid

True, but it'll be easier than it is on the TP2 because the screen is so god damn big, you should be able to hit the spot with your finger fairly well.

But anyway, the reviews I saw showed that the Evo does have the arrows on the keyboard. So we're good.

Re: Android on-screen keyboards

The Evo does have arrows. And typing on it is a breeze. Androids auto correct is nice
