Are we talking about some kind of account other than SWAC accounts here? Because if we're talking about SWAC accounts youve been able to add the Evo since day one...

What's a swac account? We're talking about 3rd party employee accounts that you get for working at best buy or radio shack.

SWAC = Sprint Wireless Advantage Club

Mainly friends & family of actual Sprint Employees. I think each employee can have about 20 accounts / lines under them. Don't quote me on that.

I have a quick question, i am on a sprint wireless advantage plan thanks to a good friend. However according to a recent call to sprints wireless club hotline i wont be able to upgrade to the evo or epic 4g until the end of october. Are you shitting me, i have been waiting patiently for over 2 months and still wont be able to get the phone for another 1 and a half? Therefore i have been exploring some different avenues on how to get this phone, i have heard some stories about people who have left the employee plan and signed up as a new customer to receive the phones faster and then have transferred back on to the employee plan. Now my question is, can that really be done, i mean dont you have to sign a two year contract, and if so will sprint actually let you just quit your contract early and sign up back as a sprint wireless advantage customer? Second question I have is, if the above question is answered with a yes, how long do i have to wait to switch back to my employee account? I have $250 saved up to purchase either phone and am afraid i will end up spending it on something, therefore i need a response ASAP. Any info would help, thanks in advance.

Sprint employees are only allowed so many people on their account. The number of accounts that they have available was cut (by half or more i believe) a while back. My sponsor has been with Sprint for a long time, and still has the old allowable number of people signed up under his account. The catch is if the account is chahged for any reason, he cannot get me back on his account...

last time I worked it said october still and its almost the end of the month

I got my EVO on the new Free and Clear 3000- just call the number thats listed on the forum and make sure you ask for employee accounts. advise them that you have the FC 3000 and need to go over to the indirect plan. Same plan different name. 37 bucks unlimited everything including phone insurance.
