Exactly what I said. I can wait 1 more month.....at least my bill won't be increased, other than the mandatory $10. Even though the outright price isn't bad....if I can get it for cheaper I'd rather take that route.

I just called them again to verify and they said you can buy the phone outright from either a Sprint store, BB or RS and all you have to do is call this number and they will activate it no problems. This is the direct number for advantage accounts.. the regular Sprint reps will have no clue what they're talking about. He even went in depth explaining to me about the $10 plan increase.

... I have the same free and clear 3000 min plan and im going to try the above # when I get to work, im also going to buy it outright if it works.

I will post back in a little while with my conclusion.
