Re: evo boost

I highly doubt they'll allow you to activate the ESN on Boost unless they have the premium data plan add-on available, which they probably won't.

Re: evo boost

If it doesn't work on Boost you can always try Virgin Mobile USA which is also owned by Sprint and uses CDMA only devices.

Re: evo boost

it wont work period... only shot you have is if you have another cdma device already active on Boost and you "program" the EVO onto Boost...

most people dont possess the knowledge to do something like this.. just letting you know....

your gonna be dissappointed if you buy it for boost..... if anything Metro is probably the way to go, not Boost or Virgin

Re: evo boost

not trying to sound like a ****, but why would you want to do that? with a phone like this you'd really want to get the unlimited plan from boost to take advantage of everything the phone can do.

off sprint break down:
450 (phone) + (50 (unlimited plan) x 24 (2 years usage)) = 1650

on sprint break down:
200 (phone) + (80 (cheapest everything plan plus $10 evo charge) x 24 (2 years usage)) = 2370

over the course of 2 years you save $30 a month, BUT, you don't get as much coverage, the quality of coverage doesn't seem to be as good and you can't use 4g (which is one of the main reasons to get this phone). AND unless you pay for insurance right when you get the phone from wherever you buy it from, if anything happens to it you're screwed as opposed to just paying $7 a month with sprint. AND of course there's the ability to get discounts on a sprint plan if you look around the web enough.

now then, all that being said, if the original post was done as a funny, then it's funny. I haven't woken up yet so it coulda just gone right over my head. :P

That doesn't mean anything. You can try, but I'm sure you'll be out $450 and you'll have an Evo paperweight.
