Twitter Question?

Actually they are right, if you open the app menu then launch twitter that way it goes to that menu, but no one launches twitter that way. The widget takes you to the timeline and any user of twitter is obviously going to use a widget rather then opening the menu app then selecting twitter.

I have a Sprint Hero running the leaked 2.1 rom. I also was using tweetcaster when i was running Android 1.5. Tweetcaster was cool but I like the official Twitter App better, it shows a thumbnail of twit pics without having to actually click on the link.

I prefer tweetcaster... gives you live updates on mentions and dm's without draining the battery too bad.

I prefer tweetcaster also, even paid 4.99 to remove banner, but honestly I think the reason it saves battery is because it doesn't refresh on time. Often you select refresh and it wont. Many people complained about it in the comments section.

htc peeps pretty good, i guess nobody uses that huh lol..it auto updates every 1hr or 2hrs sumthin like that..it shows the thumbnail pic and it also have the retweet options..very good timeline also

I dont have that issue on the hero.. mine stays pretty current. Notifications are almost instant..
