If another carrier is better in your area, why are you on Sprint in the first place? Anyway, you won't have the Evo if you switch.... :p

Don't know where to post this since there is quite a few threads about the $10 charge,but its simple if your at a restaurant and you disagree with the price of a steak you either decide to buy it or not. You don't sit through dinner complaining about it.

all the carrioers in my area are about equal but if sprint wants to over charge for an evo I might as well consider the competition and see what they have at least if i moved on I wil be able to get more phones more choices and only 10 bucks more to get the best sprint has or go to another. carrier and have more then one choice of a good phone. 4g doesn't matter to me what I want is a 1ghz processor and at least tp2 screen size or bigger. Sprint has on and watch them push back their other releases to see how the evo does with its 10 dollar premium data fee ( which I cant use anyway no 4g here and not scheduled anytime soon)

Thats so true but I think in this case it would be more like....Oh we will give you free steak with your drink and then when order they tell you it actually not free it's $10 more than advertised for....lol

what documentation or evidence exist that Sprint/Dan Hesse said the EVO would not cost extra? I believe Dan said 4G wouldn't cost extra and so far that is true.

you really believe the 10 dollar premium data charge isnt for 4g? really?? I wish I could believe it but sadly I cant. 3g service doesn't change at all with the charge they never had a data cap for 3g and its not going faster or any different.

Whether I believe it or not is irrelevant. The point is that people need to stop crying about Sprint lying because they didnt lie.

In 2.5 weeks when people are still bitching about the $10 fee, the rest of us will be getting familiar with our new EVOs.

Well if you're at an all you can eat buffet restaurant, and after a while they put out some prime rib, but they tell you it will cost you another $10 if you want some, then you will have a legitimate gripe.
