Evo not ballin..
The tp2 lacks a direction pad and even though the tp1 had a sad pathetic one it was something. The evo will also lack a direction pad. the nexus 1 has a directional ball. I thought the direction pad would be something i didnt miss but honestly i wish i had a ball like the nexus 1 or something lol.

If Sprint offered the nexus one whould you choose the nexus one or the evo for your upgrade and why. Besides android 2.2 both phones will have it soon enough even if the nexus is supposed to get it sooner.

I have a TP and never use the direction pad at all. Never. So I would still be Evo rolling.

Well every windows phone I have ever owned all had some sort of d-pad. When I got my tp2 it took a little bit of time to get use to not having a d-pad but since then I haven't even thought about it at all.

I never used the D-pad on any of my phones I barely use the buttons on my TP2 but I think it's about personal preference.

I remember I really missed having the scroll wheel on my Mogul, but I got used to it on the TP, then I switched to the TP2 and missed having the d-pad, but got used to it. Looking back on all those phones, I could definitely live without a d-pad/scrollball, especially since dpads just eat up screen real estate.
