Same here buddie........didn't get my Apache till like....summer of 2006, didn't get my Mogul till Christmas of 2008..........Touch Pro came Spring of 2009 with the Touch Pro 2 following in November!

I'm just so excited because I am coming from a Touch Pro 2......and with this thing right around the corner it makes the TP2 kinda look like garbage! Why would you have to do that? Just pre-order with the gift card and they call you in to get your phone. Too easy.

BTW, you might want to check Radio Shack also. They are doing the same thing and giving a $20 gift card towards an accessory. Check the Pre-order sticky.

I was just being stupid, but it's not a trick! You give them $50 to hold an EVO for you.........but instead of the traditional Gamestop like reservation they give you a gift card worth $50! Then when you go to pick up the phone you give them the receipt and the gift card!

Someone else already said it but its kinda sweet because when you go in to get the phone......if you got the discounts for being a new customer or being able to upgrade.......you only come out paying $150 on the day of release!
