Def not a deal killer for me. My Grl is getting me the phone and I will gladly caugh up the extra $10.00 per month for 4G once it is aval here in Tampa. Now when will BBY start the Pre-Orders so I can go get mine

Folks. If you want the EVO regardless of what coverage your area has 3g or 4g you WILL be paying $10/month more than any other phone user on the sprint network for the same plan.

for family plans with say 2 evo phones... they only play the extra 10? not an extra 20 right?

If you look at the bottom of the ad under the "Get unlimited web..." it says it's required. Engadget, who is supposedly at the NYC launch event also confirmed that it's a mandatory addon if you want the EVO.

Really a kick in the nuts to anyone who isn't in 4G coverage, which quite frankly is pretty much almost everywhere.
