It will. It will be second to get Froyo after the Nexus. I heard the update for the Evo would be available 6 weeks after the Evo releases.

not until its rooted and a custom 2.2 rom is available. i have a nexus right now and froyo will be available next week for us, i don't want to downgrade software.
