Well since this thread is about "New plan changes for EVO 4G" it would be safe to assume that its showing you will need a plan change if you get the Evo.

Now I understand the message about new customers because........well........THEY'RE NEW CUSTOMERS......

Can I safely assume that they will make me ditch SERO if I want to upgrade to Evo?

I am currently using TP. Guess my only option tu stay w/ WinMo & SERO is by upgrading to TP2?

Wish HD2 avail in CDMA. That would ve been a perfect WinMo CDMA phone, 4G or not

Yep the last phone that allowed SERO was the TP2....so at some point your gonna have to jump carriers or changer your plan . You might as well do it now to the get the EVO!

If they make me dump my SERO plan to get an EVO then I expect new contract pricing on the hardware. There is no way im increasing my monthly payout plus paying full price for the hardware.

You can't have sero with an evo.

The only thing not clear about that screenshot, under Current Customers, is the "designed for the HTC EVO 4G". Other than that, it sounds just like an Everything Data Plan (voice/messaging/data). Like I've said in earlier threads, I would pay up to $15/mo for 4G, as an add-on to my current Everything Data plan.

Also, if the Evo will be available in non-4G markets, you can't force the customers into a 4G plan, when 4G data isn't available. If you have an Everything Data Plan, you should be able to get the phone. My gut feeling tells me you will be charged for the hotspot app, if you use it, and that's it.
